Past
1. It doesn’t matter what you’ve achieved. Your achievements are just moments in the past; your knowledge and experience shape your future. Those medals and awards are merely items on your vanity wall, but your experiences will help you be happier tomorrow.
2. Take your past mistakes as lessons, and learn them, but don’t regret them. When we enter this world, nobody provides us with guidelines. We all make mistakes – it’s part of the game.
Present
3. Life isn’t a journey but a single point we call ‘here and now.’ Your past exists only in your memory. Your future exists only in your imagination. Focus on here and now. You have nothing else and will never have.
4. The ability to be happy with what you have is an art few have mastered. If you’re constantly craving more, you’re always unhappy. By focusing on this moment, you engage with the only reality you'll ever truly possess.
Future
5. A big dream is a double-edged sword. It can provide motivation but also makes you suffer when you focus on what you lack. Question your big dreams honestly – are they your guiding stars, or do you just use them to avoid living fully in the present?
6. Goals and plans often postpone happiness for some future day. You can make short-term plans if it makes you feel confident, but don’t forget to live here and now.
7. Stop worrying about the future. Most decisions in your life are made without your participation. Make a list of the things within your control and let go of the rest.

Let me introduce my new piece, Strategy Quips. In this booklet, I blended two collections—my strategy jokes and a bunch of my short musings on the same topic.
You can start reading it at any point and in any order. One minute per day is more than enough. I hope this booklet brings you joy and makes you smile. Dowload the booklet for free here: https://sbiryulin.com/free-stuff, no sign-up required.
Wishing you an entertaining read!
